Live, Love, Lotus, - Everything You Need to Know About Lotus Hydrating Scalp Oil

We all know the importance of good hair care, but have you ever heard of scalp care before? Whether you suffer from chronic dry scalp, itchiness, scalp psoriasis, or you’re simply looking for a natural, healthy way to hydrate your hair at the root, Lotus has got you covered! Lotus is a clean and lightweight hydrating scalp oil designed to soothe and moisturize your scalp. Packed with 13 intensely hydrating and soothing all-natural ingredients, Lotus provides intense hydration while promoting healthier, stronger, softer hair. Looking to learn more about Lotus, you’ve come to the right place!

How Does Lotus Work?

Hydration - Nourishing oils like argan oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil moisturize your scalp while relieving itchiness, dryness, and flaking.

Inflammation - Powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients like aloe vera and sunflower oil target inflammation, reducing dry, itchy, red flare-ups.

Antioxidants - Antioxidant-rich ingredients like pomegranate and aloe restore, strengthen, and protect the skin from free radical damage.

How Do I Apply Lotus?

  • Part your hair and run the dropper through the scalp applying the oil directly on the problem area.
  • Massage until absorbed (should take approximately 1-2 minutes).
  • Let the oil sit for at least 20 minutes before rinsing it off OR leave it on overnight as a scalp mask for added hydration.

What Are Some Other Uses for Lotus?

Fun fact - you can actually use Lotus anywhere on your body, not just the scalp! Here’s some of our favorite ways:

  • Mix a few drops with body lotion before applying for extra hydration.
  • Massage into your scalp and leave on during a workout or overnight as a mask.
  • Apply on ends of hair during styling for sleekness.
  • Use as a standalone face or body oil.

How Often Should I Use Lotus?

To maintain a healthy scalp, Lotus can be used daily! Otherwise, we recommend using it at minimum 2-3x per week!

Will Lotus Leave Your Hair Oily?

Each oil chosen in Lotus is lightweight and gentle so that it won't leave your hair feeling super greasy. Nonetheless, like with any hair or scalp oils, too much could lead to oily hair. In order to provide enough hydration to help the dry, flaking skin, you'll want to use a decent amount - that's why we recommend using it before a shower or as an overnight mask that you rinse off in the morning.

What Does Lotus Smell Like?

Lotus has a gentle lavender, citrusy scent that comes from its all-natural ingredients. There are no artificial or synthetic fragrances in Lotus.

Do I Use Lotus with Wet or Dry Hair?

Either one is fine! The goal is to apply the oil directly on the scalp, trying to avoid your hair as much as possible, so whichever way you prefer works!

How Long Will it Take to See Results?

Your scalp should feel more hydrated and less irritated right after the first use! We recommend daily use to maintain a healthy, hydrated scalp, however, it can also be used as the irritations arise.

Can Lotus Be Used if I Don't have an Itchy Scalp?

Absolutely! Lotus is perfect to use in general for a healthier scalp and it will also help your hair look more vibrant and healthy.

Is Lotus Free of All the Harmful Stuff?

Absolutely! All of the ingredients found in Lotus are natural and great for your skin!

No added chemicals, fragrances, synthetics or any of the gross stuff.

Lotus is:

  • All-natural
  • Vegan
  • Non-GMO
  • Gluten free
  • Soy free
  • Paraben free
  • SLS free

How Long Does the Bottle Last?

This depends on how often you use it and how big the problem area is. If you use it daily throughout your scalp, it should last about a month, otherwise, longer!

Where Should I Store Lotus?

Store Lotus in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight.

Where is Lotus Made and Shipped From?

Lotus is crafted in Florida and shipped out of Dallas, Texas.
