Lotus has a light lavender and almost citrus-y scent that comes from the natural ingredients. There are no artificial or synthetic fragrances in Lotus.
To maintain a healthy scalp, Lotus can be used daily! Otherwise, we recommend using it at minimum 2-3x per week!
Each oil chosen in Lotus is lightweight and gentle so that it won't leave your hair feeling super greasy. Nonetheless, like with any hair or scalp oils, too much could lead to oily hair, and in order to provide enough hydration to help the dry, flaking skin, you'll want to use a decent amount. That's why we recommend using it before a shower or as an overnight mask that you rinse off in the morning.
Either one is fine! The goal is to apply the oil directly on the scalp, trying to avoid your hair as much as possible, so whichever way prefer works!
Part hair where the itchiness persists. Run dropper through the scalp applying the oil directly on the problem area. Repeat as needed to cover the whole area and massage until absorbed (approx. 1-2 minutes). Let it sit for at least 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Can be used overnight as a mask as well. For best results use daily.

Your scalp should feel more hydrated and less irritated right after the first use! We recommend daily use to maintain a healthy, hydrated scalp, however, it can also be used as the irritations arise.
This depends on how often you use it and how big the problem area is. If you use it daily throughout your scalp, it should last about a month, otherwise, longer!

Lotus works great as a hydrating hair mask or even as a hair styling oil after the shower. Even better, you can actually use Lotus anywhere on your body, not just the scalp! We have customers using it on their hands to soothe the itch and some use it for a gentle facial oil before bed for an extra boost of hydration!
